Samplifire continues to steamroll his way through the scene with yet another massive release, this time in the form of the heavyweight Nightmare EP on NSD: Black Label. While all four cuts on the EP feature the youngblood flexing as only he can do, it’s this untethered title track that is sure to have the squad bouncing off the walls and begging for more.
From the twisted exoticism of the intro on through to that moment when Samplifire pulls the ripcord and the shivering hook spreads its wings and screeches to life. With just enough filth in the proceedings to keep it street, the crunchy beats and gut-churning bottom end keep things on solid ground as the synapse-melting synth shreds throughout.
