The Vomitsquad is excited to hear even more bass-heavy music from their favorite DJ/producer, Snails. Just when we thought The Shell album couldn’t get any better, it just did. Snails recently dropped a new remix album on September 14, giving a whole new spin to The Shell, making each song stand out on its own incredible way.
For The Shell: Remixes album, Snails invited some of the best bass/dubstep producers in the scene, and his fellow artists such as Kill The Noise, Virtual Riot, Funtcase, Space Jesus, Svdden Death and many others, to create their own spin on his debut LP. All of them delivered their own interpretations of Snails’ original tracks off of the album, which originally released on October 20, 2017.
The entire 12-track album went cohesively together to give the listener a great experience, and now the remix album, which features 10 remixes, just turned it way up. Other producers such as Soltan, Kompany & Ivory, UBUR, Megalodon and Mastadon were invited by Snails to help create the large compilation of non-stop energy. These producers have been making a big name for themselves, pushing the boundaries of bass music with every single release.
The Canadian DJ has managed to rise above the pack with an unmistakable Vomitstep sound, working tirelessly to provide his fans with dirty bass lines, trap rhythms and off-kilter sounds. He didn’t disappoint bass lovers by packing his album with shrill, abrasive wobbles, skittering percussion and explosive bass. The Shell: Remixes album is definitely a project that will have you headbanging from beginning to the end.
