The production wizardry of Soltan, the elusive wunderkind, has not gone unnoticed. As fate would have it, Firepower label boss Datsik randomly stumbled upon the SoundCloud of the Iranian-based producer, and before you know it we’ve witnessed a few releases leading up to his very first EP for the label. Heavy on the melodics and Eastern influence, the Jadugar EP boasts four uniquely styled offerings, including “Bang Bazzar” with none other than Spag Heddy and a vocal feature from Gravity.
The genre defying “Balkans Hammer”rolls out Soltan’s Bollywood influence and heavy-duty synths. Magical vibes ensue as “Jadu” drops in with a splash of classic brostep and plenty of low end. Finally, “Live On Rewind” delivers a hybrid banger with the superb vocal accompaniment of singer/songwriter Jai Matt.
