Soul Intent continues to move from strength to strength, this time turning it out for Commercial Suicide imprint with the grooving, three-track ‘Wanna Fight’ EP.
According to label boss Klute, the entire EP was “produced entirely on a Kindle” while Soul Intent was “on a spiritual pilgrimage to Nepal.” Whether or not this was actually created in a “tent on a mountainside using the latest in solar technology,” the results are sure to have you feeling divine.
From the ill minimal roller known as “Funk Link” on through to the liquid pressure of “Move Your Body,” the classic D&B vibes represent alongside the full-force of the futuristic leanings of the London-based producer.
If you like a little grit and grime in your beats head straight to the title track off the EP that features Chromatic getting down alongside Soul Intent for a proper dancefloor throw down.
