Without even listening to the tunes Subtronics lets us know what we’re in for with titles like “Death Wish,” “Gyroscope,” “Face Off,” and ‘Failure Rate.” Eerie forest vibes drenched in wook sweat elevate each and every cut on the EP as Subtronics takes us on a journey through Dragonball-tinged soundscapes, wonky dips and trips, and a shivering low-end determined to crush anything in its path. While the entire EP spits fire, it’s the wobbling rib-cracker “MAD” done up with Moody Good that caps off the project in an epic way.
