Trendkill Drops New Various Artist EP

Reaching through another dimension, well-known D&B stalwart Prolix pushes the barriers in the ever-changing world of cutthroat bass music. Centered on neurofunk and tech-dancefloor, his Trendkill Records imprint celebrates its fourteenth release with its first ever various artists EP.

Brimming with top-notch talent assembled by the label boss himself, Trendkill VA EP001 features several of the brightest producers behind the DAW. Proxima kicks things off with “Here We Go,” turning up the wonkiness with dense atmosphere and nail biting precision. Malux displays a merciless cut with the scorching hot “Powercube,” while Barbarix offers up the animalistic “Ambush,” a tune that’s currently making the rounds online.

Trendkill favorite Sustance then climbs into the driver’s seat to pilot “The Machine,” pushing shiny snares and tense, trippy strings for a moodier vibe. Rounding out the list is the favored tech lord Current Value who never seems to disappoint with yet another grimy gift in the form of “Afterburner,” a tune explicitly engineered for the dancefloor.
