Having earned his stripes fusing seemingly disparate genres into an unparalleled vision that’s all his own, the ever-prolific Champagne Drip continues to drop jaws with this latest flex into the outer edges of bass music territory.
Right from the start Champagne Drip let’s you know what you’re in for. From the rib-rattling “That Feeling”, an exquisite collab with Sully, on through to the rave ready “Acid Underground” there’s no denying that Champagne Drip isn’t afraid to keep things fresh in the studio and in our ears. From there, Champagne drips guides us into slow-burning ballad territory with vocalist Cristina Soto stealing the show on “Ur War” before a growling drum and bass beast is unleashed on the final cut of the project, “Beyond.”
As Champagne Drip tells it: “Time Warp is a record that encapsulates my deep interest in the underground rave music that inspired me to become a DJ and producer. It’s influenced heavily by my favorite sounds and genres from earlier in my career.”
