Following their collaborative “On The Low” single as part of the massive CONVOY compilation, Tripzy Leary and G Dubz return to Liquid Stranger’s WAKAAN imprint with a five-track EP, Arrival. As both producers have come to make their stamp in the bass music arena, the pair join forces once more on this crafty EP that serves up an effortless marriage between their distinct sounds. Furthermore, their Arrival EP proves they’ve been cooking up some magic in the studio that you’re not going to want to miss!
Opening up the project on a strong note, Tripzy Leary and G Dubz join forces with Giometric for “Apocalypse,” a tune that flexes with a heavy bassline and sends vibrations right to the core with a drop that offers soul-crushing bass sure to disorient your senses. “Sweet Earth” switches gears with a melodic foundation that’s drizzled with a wonky bassline that keeps things exciting before the aptly titled “Interdimensional” brings forth a heavier bass frequency with cleverly placed synths to create an out of body experience. Next up in rotation is “Blocc Is Hawt” serving up some serious heat with an intriguing build up before the beefy drop comes for the jugular with some heavy bass and jabbing synths that hit in all the right spots. Last but not least, “Break It Down” features Giometric once again to close out the project proper with a gritty bassline and a rhythm that takes listeners through a journey to the deepest corners of bass music.
