The Los Angeles-based duo known as um.. keep making big moves as their unique take on future trap vibes reaches the breaking point on their latest EP. Featuring an all-star crew of fellow graduates from Icon Collective, um..’s a dog tale EP locks in heavyweight collaborations from the likes of sumthin sumthin, great dane, Yheti, and yunis.
Each of the four tracks sizzle as dank beats and basslines compete with dizzying atmospheres and swirling future-fueled melodies that present a cohesive group vision that the entire crew seems to be carrying over outside the studio as well. Whether it’s the fact that all the artists on the EP twisted heads at Shambhala this past weekend or the way in which their behind-the-scenes mini-documentary on the crafting of the EP has racked up the views on Facebook, it’s obvious that um.. and his rowdy crew are not only here to stay but determined to do it their own way.
