Birmingham’s Vytol showcases proper jungle sounds and applies the low-end pressure on a new four-track EP entitled Hear Me Out, released on Ruffneck Ting. “Headz” exudes old-skool vibes, fluttering percussion, and twisty basslines, while the K-JAH collaboration “Play Music” goes deep with squelchy, wobbly bass and a heavy drum kit. Elsewhere, listeners will get lost in the dubbed-out reggae and beautifully bright percussion of “Go There.” The title track is also a strong roller, and should provide ammo to any sound system from Birmingham to the States.
