Just in time for those long winter nights, Kannibalen Records opens a portal into the Weird and ODD world of WODD with The Garden EP.
Hailing from France, the ever-impressive bass wizard closes out the year with his second EP on the imprint. A collection of three-intricately crafted conjurings of bone-rattling bass, the sick and eerie vibes reign supreme throughout as WODD lives up to his reputation for cinematic soundscapes aimed strictly at the dancefloor.
The EP takes its name from the title track which stands out for its otherworldly atmosphere centered on a goosebump-inducing vocal. The creep and crawl of your skin from the bassline gives way to a filthy drop that kicks us into the world of sci-fi tinged horror on “Insignificant” and the wub-heavy anthem “Turn Off The Light.”
Even though it’s only three tracks deep, it’s a massive collection of material that only strengthens the beast-like power that WODD is sure to elevate in the coming year.
Don’t just take our word for it. Check the exclusive Bassrush premiere of the full EP below and be sure to lock yours in here as this one’s out now.
