The Los Angeles-based Xavage returns to flex on that wonky trap tip designed to make you move. The aptly titled “Strike A Pose” brings on the minimal banging vibes that Xavage has come to make his own. Centered on a bass so low you’re going to have to push this one through the subwoofers to get the full effect, Xavage kicks a razor-sharp groove while a dank vocal keeps things the vibes on point throughout.
If you like that slow grind in the shadow of the speakers then this is the one for you. With his debut EP and a sample pack in the works for Splice on the way, be sure to keep your eyes on Xavage as he has his sights set on taking over in the coming year.
