YDG Fights the Bass With “Warlords”

California native YDG, is a new name in the next generation of bass music, but he’s no stranger to producing dark dubstep to trap to melodic bass tracks. He’s created a strong name for himself as a young producer performing raves and gritty clubs around Southern California, but it’s his passion for raw and compelling sounds that’s driven him to the next level.

YDG has already made an appearance on Buygore Records’ sub label, Fresh Blood, with his debut track, “1234,” and now he’s returning to the label’s Fresh Blood Vol. 2 compilation with “Warlords.” Fully loaded with heavy vibrations, a hard industrial feel, and intricate sound designs, YDG’s latest music effort melds the auditory with the visual. His latest jagged edge single illustrates his adeptness in producing a boundless range of sounds.

“Warlords” hooks listeners with horrific, piercing ringing and a culmination of bass heavy elements spliced together for a well-crafted masterpiece. The track’s aggressive high energy level is paired with violent baselines, oscillating builds and arpeggiated synths, dives right into an eerie interlude.
